I got to be honest, i’m not even a huge Peyton Manning fan. Yeah i’m in awe of what he was able to accomplish in his NFL career, but I was never actively rooting for him until this last Super Bowl. But this commercial? Are you fucking kidding me Gatorade? Way to make me weep like a school girl while i’m at work. There’s something about sports videos like this, that point to a legacy career or call out to something amazing, that really get me right in the feels. Bambi gets shot? Yeah, it’s sad, but put on “4 Days in October” and i’ll gush like a 16 year-old who got stood up on prom night.
Really SI? I wasn’t aware that the possibility of breaking the quarterback touchdown record was more impressive than putting a city in despair on your back, winning the AL East, winning the world series and becoming world series MVP. Peyton began his year by losing in the playoffs. Yes he’s having an unreal year, but he also has 3 of the top 15 receivers in the league. At this point, the broncos might not even win their division! And if you think they’re going to represent the AFC in the super bowl then you’re high. Sports Illustrated just lost my respect. Quite possibly the biggest oversight in fake awards history. Big Papi is upset, and rightfully so.
I don’t know why this is hilarious, but it just is. Peyton Manning is the king of unintentional comedy.
#Bucs RB Peyton Hillis is wearing 33 in case you are wondering. No. 40, which Hillis has worn in the past, is safe … Alstott fans.

Mike Alstott fans can breathe easy, Hillis will not be taking the coveted #40 jersey. Which hasn’t been worn since Alstott retired in 2006. And while I don’t think that this was a big deal to Hillis, it is to Bucs fans, and he knows it. Classy move, Peyton.
Hillis has reported to training camp and will be taking RB and FB drills.
