New Trailer Alert – The Interview

These are the types of movies we’ve come to expect from Rogan and Franco; two best friends teaming up to take down a drug lord, save themselves from the apocalypse, and in this case, kill the leader of North Korea. Should be filled with some good laughs and numerous cameos. Will I see it in theaters? Yeah I probably will. ‘Neighbors’ was hilarious and i’m sure this one follows suit. (Could we possibly see appearances by Zach Effron and Ike Barenholtz? Maybe!)

NEW TRAILER ALERT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I like! I like! I’m not sure how you can go wrong with William Fichtner as Shredder. That dude is made to play the villain role. He was a total DICK in ‘Elysium’.

HEROS IN A HALF SHELL…TURTLE POWER!

PS- I personally would have casted Kate Upton as April O’Neil, but I guess i’ll just have to stare at Megan fox for 2+ hours. Ho hum.

PSS- Need this brought back!

New Trailer Alert – X-Men: Days of Future Past

In X-Men: Days of Future Past, two worlds collide. On one side you have the original X-Men cast (Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, etc.) and on the other you have the cast stemming from the X-Men First Class movie (Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawernce, and Nicholas Hoult). By the looks of this trailer the mix looks to be a cinematic home run.

I have always been impressed by the acting in the X-Men movies. In recent years there have been some superhero movies with sub par acting and it really hurt the franchise, but not with X-Men. To me it has always been one of their strong points. Cannot wait for this movie to hit theaters on May 23, 2014. Be sure to check back for a first reactions/review shortly after that date.

New Trailer – Grand Budapest Hotel (Wes Anderson)

Looks like Grand Budapest Hotel is about the friendship between a concierge and his protege and new lobby boy (played by newcomer Tony Revolori). This is a Wes Anderson film so of course you get Bill Murray, but the list of the other actors has blown my mind. Some have been in Anderson’s films before and others are new to his brightly painted world. Here they are in case you missed any in the trailer: Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Adrian Brody, Willem Dafoe, Tom Wilkinson, and Jude Law! Holy awesome cast, Batman!

Looks like the release date is sometime early March, 2014 and I cannot wait.
