Paul Rudd on Conan
Paul Rudd is a national treasure. He’s been going on Conan’s late night talk show forever, and he’s one of the funniest guests (not as great as Dirk Nowitzki, but no one is). His best appearances are when he has a movie to promote. Instead of showing a clip from the movie, Rudd always sneaks in the same clip from the movie Mac & Me. Some beautiful soul on YouTube mashed all of Rudd’s appearances together and it’s a legitimate YouTube gem. Have a great weekend everybody.
Weekend Video – Dancing in the Streets
This weekend we’re all about facts. Fact: David Bowie & Mick Jagger are two of the greatest musical minds of all time. Fact: Dancing in the Street is a catchy ass song & the sexual tension in this music video is off the goddamn charts. While the original music video is great, the sexual tension really gets ramped up when you take away the music. Enjoy this glorious video and more importantly, have a great weekend everybody.
Steve Spiros, Easy Going
“What’s your name?”. That’s the only thing this poor reporter said before Steve Spiros, quite possibly the craziest man in the world, went on a rant for the ages. Waterloo. Vampires. Humberside. Sleep Walkers. New York, Manhattan. This interview has all of it.
If you come away with one thing from this interview, let it be this: you can’t kill someone with NO BODY.
If you were looking for a blog that dissects a 2011 HIV/AIDS public service announcement featuring action movie star Jackie Chan & an animated condom, then not only do you have oddly specific taste, but you’ve come to the right place. I was perusing Cracked as I usually do a few times a week when I came across this video, and it was too strange not to share with the world. Here you have Jackie Chan, who reminds everyone at the beginning of the video that he’s an action star, joined by an animated, mobile, TALKING condom.
I’ve always wondered who creates these PSA’s and if I had to guess, the creator of this one is locked away in a mental hospital. I also wonder who their target audience is, because if it’s kids who haven’t had sex yet, they’re going to be in for a fucking shock when they buy condoms that don’t talk and practice karate. If you need a conversation starter at some point this weekend, whip out this post and watch everyone run away in horror.
The Average Nobodies aren’t your average (get it) one trick pony’s. We can do TWO tricks. Right now, we’re in the midst of re-releasing all of our old videos from our web series ‘Drinking with Class’, and we figured we might as well share some of these bad boys while we’re at it. In this episode, we explain what goes into making a classy evening. If you’re looking to take someone out on the town, maybe don’t use these tips.
NXT “Takeover: Dallas” event during WrestleMania 32 weekend:
WWE NXT Title Match
Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor
WWE NXT Women’s Title Match
Asuka vs. Bayley
Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
My favorite thing about NXT is their ability to not only put down four matches like that on paper, but the trust fans have in the product to build up these matches to make them even better. NXT had their final tapings before WrestleMania weekend last night, and these are the four major matches for the April 1st event. The only surprise for me was that Joe and Balor will square off again, and that Zayn will take on Nakamura in his debut. I want to see Zayn vs. Balor badly, but if Balor isn’t turning heel between now and April, it makes sense to put him up against someone like Joe. From everything I’ve seen and read about Nakamura, he is a complete game changer, and I fully expect him and Zayn to tear the house down. Gable and Jordan are my favorite part of NXT, so seeing them get their tag title shot is going to be insane. Asuka vs. Bayley is so wonderful, as they’re two VERY different kind of baby faces, and this will be the ultimate test for Bayley. When you combine this card with the fact that more matches will be added with the likes of Apollo Crews, Corbin, Austin Aries, the women’s division and the tag team division, you have an event that will rival WrestleMania. What a weekend that will be.
