Why – Cee Lo Green temporarily deleted his Twitter account following a series of controversial messages about rape.

As first reported by Buzzfeed, the “F— You” singer issued a series of tweets Sunday night in which he compared rape to a home invasion and implied that women can only be rape victims if they are conscious.

“When someone brakes on a home there is broken glass,” he wrote. “Where is your plausible proof anyone was raped?”

“Women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” he added.

“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH implies consent.”

Green’s tweets occurred two days after he pleaded no contest to slipping ecstasy to a woman in 2012. The former “Voice” judge was accused of secretly giving the drug to a woman while the two were dining together.

Even though Green’s lawyer said that any sexual relations the two had were consensual, she alleged that he spiked her drink and the “next thing” she knew, she woke up naked in her hotel room with him.

This is just a horrible thing to say in general, but it’s especially horrible coming from a guy who is charged with roofieing a woman. What makes this worse is that he deleted his Twitter account after this. If you’re going to be stupid enough to say stuff like this, at least stick around and face the backlash. I didn’t think I could dislike Cee Lo more than I did after he performed at Summerslam and basically put the entire world to sleep, but I do. Hey Cee Lo, you’re ugly. Boom roasted.
