WELL THEN! Looks like Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) has been busy since we last saw him getting his arm ripped off by Ultron. This is a nice little snippet, but I need more! Especially of Michael B. Jordan’s character.
Chills shooting up and down my spine right now. Tune into the Make Movies Great Again Podcast on Monday for a FULL breakdown. In the meantime, I’m going to watch this 1,000,000,000 times.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for something that showed me so little. Granted, this isn’t really a trailer – more of a teaser, but it doesn’t make me any less excited for the 6th installment in the Marvel Netflix universe. My one wish for this series is a cameo from Frank Castle. Please and thank you. The Defenders drops on Netflix on August 18th.
Want a little more? Here’s the teaser from last year’s Comic-Con
Ok, breathe Matt. Deep breaths, you can do this…..
Sweet baby Bill Paxton. So i’m not sure when this is coming out, so i’m just going to wait outside my local gamestop until it does. Better safe than sorry when it comes to Fallout. Before I go, let me tell you about the sick love affair that is my relationship with Fallout. Ever since I got my grubby paws on Fallout 3 I haven’t been able to put it down. I have logged unspeakable hours into that title, hours that I will never get back, hours that were very well spent. I couldn’t get enough of scavenging the Capital Wasteland for guns, supplies, robots, merchants and the sweet nectar that is Nuka-Cola. It was/is the, hands down, best video game i’ve ever played and Fallout 4 should only trump that feeling. Next-gen graphics aren’t even on my excitement radar for this game; i’m more interested in exploring a new map, which by the looks of it, seems to be set in a Boston-like city (SICK).
Ok, off to Gamestop. See you when the trailer for Fallout 5 drops.
HBO is usually very vague with their teaser trailers, especially ones that pertain to the final season of a show, and the latest one for ‘Boardwalk Empire’ is no different. What makes ‘Boardwalk’ different from other shows on the air is that it’s a period piece, following characters who actually existed in real life. All you need to do is a Google search and you can find out what happened to Al Capone, or Lucky Luciano, or even Enoch Thompson. It’s also interesting that the show is jumping ahead to 1931, as Chalky White looks noticeably older with a grey beard (Steve Buscemi looks the same. I actually picture him being born a middle aged man). There are a lot of great characters who have a lot of loose ends to tie up in the final season, so it should a fast paced, action packed set of episodes.
HBO does a lot of things well, but nobody can touch their trailer game for TV shows. They could take a show about a dolphin and whale getting it on and make it look like a Scorsese masterpiece in the trailer. Fortunately for HBO, ‘Boardwalk Empire’ is pretty much the TV version of a Scorsese masterpiece (he’s an executive producer) but that doesn’t stop them from putting out teaser trailers that really peak your interest. According to Michael K. Williams, who plays Chalky White, season 5 will take place seven years after season 4, which puts the show in the time frame of the Great Depression. We’re given a heavy dose of Nucky in this trailer, and it shouldn’t be surprising if the final season revolves around his new, lonely world. ‘Boardwalk Empire’ returns for it’s final season this September.
