Trailer Alert – Black Mirror Series 4

This is not only a trailer, but an episode list as well. If you missed any, the episodes are: Crocodile, Arkangel, Hang The DJ, USS Callister, Metalhead and Black Museum. If we are to believe what this teaser/trailer says (and we should never believe anything a Black Mirror video shows or tells us) then there are six episodes in series 4. Which is right on par with series 3 (the first series produced by Netflix).

Looks like there are some familiar Black Mirror faces sprinkled in series 4, including Jesse Plemons, who I am particularly excited to see at the helm of a Star Trek like spaceship in USS Callister.

And the best part about Black Mirror series 4? It’s coming out, in it’s entirety (I heart your ways, Netflix), sometime in October. SO SOON.

On May 5th I Slip Into a Diabetic Coma

Mountain Dew, you are not doing your loyal fans any favors by releasing this sans Taco Bell. Easily one of the greatest liquids to ever touch my lips, Baja Blast is only kept under control by the fact that Taco Bell limits its consumption. However, on May 5th Mountain Dew releasees this tasty carbonated treat to the public*. Do you know what this will be like? It will be like blowing up the hoover dam.  This is how the world ends, Mountain Dew releases a new bottled soda. God help the USA if they have 2 liter bottles.

*People who don’t eat Taco Bell**

**Satan and Chalres Manson

On May 5th I will be on my comfy couch, enjoying a bottle of Baja Blast, and watching the new season of “Louie”. Game, set, match.

Tech Tuesday – Real Phones Have Curves

So this is what cell phones have come to? First, the smaller phone you had, the better it was. Then, people wanted bigger and bigger phones. The next direction obviously must be curved phones. The picture above is of LG’s G Flex smart phone. The first phone of its kind, sporting a 6″ curved display.

29349 The curved designed is accomplished by making the screen plastic instead of the normal glass, which LG says gives the phone an “IMAX-like experience”. I have been to quite a few movies at the IMAX theater in Providence and even though I have never used the phone I can confidently say it won’t be anything like an IMAX theater. Going out on a limb with that statement, but I think I could be right.

As far as specs go you’re looking at basically a curved version of LG’s G2, which is a pretty sweet device. As of right now there is no release date, but if I had to guess you will be able to get this guy in your hands around mid November.

PS- I feel like if I put this phone in my pocket it will break. Just saying.
