Jimmy Fallon Joined U2 On Stage At MSG To Sing ‘Mysterious Ways’ & ‘Desire’, Has The Best Life In The World

Jimmy Fallon continues to live the best life of all time, as he joined U2 on stage at their Madison Square Garden show to sing a couple songs and be entertaining as all hell. Anyone who has watched a second of his stint of host of ‘The Tonight Show’ knows how musically talented he is, and he seems to amp it up a little when he’s able to play off people as gifted as U2. This was awesome, and the crowd at MSG got an extra special treat that they’ll probably never forget.

Ryan’s Music Monday: Sam Smith – Life Support

I went to see Sam Smith on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, and good Lord can that son of a bitch sing. He only has one album out, so the set was shorter than most acts that play the Garden, but anyone worried about his voice translating to a live crowd should go check him out. Top notch performer.

Sam Smith is Coming to Madison Square Garden in 2015 to Soothe My Aching Heart

I have no problem admitting I have a slight obsession with Sam Smith. Have I listened to the acoustic version of ‘Latch’ over 250 times? Maybe, maybe not, maybe go fuck yourself. All I know is I’m going to his show at Madison Square Garden and he better bring extra security for that show. I need to hear the Whitney Houston cover of ‘How Will I Know’ during the encore. I need it.

Billy Joel Signing a Life Contract Reminds Me of the Time MJ Almost Had To Play Basketball on Moron Mountain

Billy Joel ret party

“In an unprecedented move, Billy Joel announced at a New York press conference Tuesday afternoon that he will play Madison Square Garden once a month for the indefinite future. “Playing Madison Square Garden is an experience that never gets old,” Joel said. “A show a month at the Garden for as long as there’s demand means more opportunities to connect with music fans and provides a unique and memorable show every time we play here.” – Celeb Buzz

This is kind of incredible for two reasons: The first being that I already have tickets to go see him in April and the second reason being that The Piano Man is probably going to die on stage at MSG. Which, honestly, is not a bad way to go out. I can see it now. His head bouncing off the piano keys mid-“My Life”. I can only assume that they have a plan set in place if he does die in the middle of his set. Lower a cable down from the rafters, hook him up to it, and lift him out of the stadium with a bright beam of light shining down upon him. I can only hope I will be at that show (but not anytime soon because Billy Joel is going to live for a long, long time).

This also reminds me of the time that Michael Jordan almost got forced into playing one-on-one basketball for all eternity at the hands of Mister Swackhammer. Except I’m pretty sure the owners of MSG are not cartoon aliens…. I have been wrong before.
