SNL Announces December Hosts Saoirse Ronan, James Franco & Kevin Hart

Saoirse Ronan, James Franco & Kevin Hart To Host December SNL Eps.

SNL has had an interesting start to it’s 43rd season. They’re still stuck in Trump mode (although Alec Baldwin has not appeared on the last two shows) and they’ve utilized a lot of first time hosts. That trend will continue Saturday when Saoirse Ronan makes her SNL debut, but 2017 will end with a few familiar faces. Franco has hosted three times while Hart has hosted twice, and they’re more household names than the Haddish’s and Ronan’s of the world. With everything happening in Hollywood, having fresh faces host is probably a smart move, but I do enjoy when some old favorites return.

Kevin Hart had one of my favorite monologues of season 41 and Franco is always down to get weird, which usually makes the best hosts. The other thing to look for this weekend and moving forward is how SNL responds to the Al Franken sexual misconducts news. Franken is a former writer and cast member, so I’d expect Jost and Che to have something to say about him during Weekend Update.

SNL Just Announced The Rest Of Their Hosts For April & Sweet Baby Jesus Are They Amazing

Good Lord look at the lineup. We already knew Peter Dinklage would be hosting this weekend, but following that we’re going to get Russell Crowe and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. That is a powerhouse lineup and refreshing at the same time. Peter Dinklage & Russell Crowe have never hosted & JLD hasn’t hosted since 2007. Three world class actors, back to back to back. While Dinklage and Crowe are known more for their dramatic roles, you know they’ll both be able to bust out their comedic chops come show time. If you don’t already know that JLD is one of the funniest people on the planet, then you don’t deserve to live.

#SNL Is Coming In Hot After Donald Trump With Elizabeth Banks & Matthew McConnaughey In Back To Back Episodes

After a two week hiatus, SNL returns November 7th with host Donald Trump that could be surprisingly good, but in actuality will just be a ratings boost. After Trump though, SNL is brining us quality hosts with Elizabeth Banks and Mr. Lincoln himself Matthew McConnaughey. Elizabeth Banks is an underrated comedic actor, and she seems like the anti-Trump with respect to taking herself seriously. I’m assuming a Hunger Games spoof is a lock for her episode, as is McConnaughey spoofing himself during a pre-taped Lincoln commercial sketch. SNL season is the best season.

SNL Has Announced The Last Three Hosts For Season 40 & They’re All Spectacular

Season 40 of SNL is coming to a close, but not before three more action packed episodes starting next Saturday. Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon and Louis CK will close out the season, with Wiz Khalifa, Florence & The Machine and Rihanna paired up as the musical guests. CK is always wonderful on SNL, and Johansson and Witherspoon are that perfect combination of star power with the ability to get a little bit weird for a laugh. The SNL crew has had a few weeks off, so hopefully they come out swinging for the fences starting next Saturday. If we don’t get an encore edition of Louis as Abraham Lincoln in the season finale I might burn my house down.

Adam Sandler Was on ‘Conan’ Last Night & Told A Pretty Epic Michael Keaton Story

Adam Sandler has been on fire lately, and his string of funny appearances continued last night when he visited Conan. Between this story, the SNL 40 digital short and the Bob Barker skit, he’s had a solid couple of weeks. This story is great for so many reasons, but none more than pulling the Batman trump card. Only a handful of people have ever portrayed Batman, so if those people are ever in an argument, especially over who should pay the bill, the Batman card trumps everything. That might be the most powerful trump card in the game. I can picture Keaton or Clooney or Christian Bale arguing with their friends about where they should go on a Friday night, and after all their friends pick their spot, they jump in with the ‘I’m Batman’ trump card and it’s settled. Actually, that probably doesn’t happen. Everybody knows Clooney has fancy naked parties at his house in Lake Como. Anyway, we didn’t need another reason to love Michael Keaton, but he just gave us one.

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Are My Spirit Animals

(Source) NEW YORK  — Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have signed up to host the Golden Globes for two more years.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Tuesday that the former “Saturday Night Live” chums will be back after a successful show earlier this year. Next year’s Golden Globes will be held in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Jan. 12.

The two stars garnered good reviews with this year’s show, with an act less biting than predecessor Ricky Gervais yet still fun.

Allen Shapiro, who runs Dick Clark Productions, said Fey and Poehler have a “truly unique chemistry.”

Sweet Jeebus this is awesome. Two more years of Poehler and Fey is just what I needed to get my mind of the guy who has sex with cars. Witty banter. Fantastic chemistry. Doesn’t hurt that they’re nice to look at it either. Powerhouse tag team that I only thought was possible through my weird dreams has now become a recurring reality. Ryan likey.
