My Favorite Sketch From Gal Gadot’s #SNL: First Date
Gal Gadot hosted SNL for the first time last Saturday, and it seemed like the writers weren’t sure what to do with her. Most of the sketches revolved around how gorgeous she was, but I think if she hosts again it would ideally be a more well rounded show. With that said, there were some highlights from her show on Saturday, including my favorite sketch: First Date. This sketch worked so well because Kenan doesn’t look exactly like OJ, but once the joke kicked in he looked enough like him to pull it off. Great stuff.

Trailer Alert – Justice League
The Justice League
Great trailer. The masterful Superman tease/dream (which we all knew was coming, don’t start bitching) was exactly what this final trailer needed. Everything else in the trailer, we’ve pretty much have seen before. AND still no big, out-in-the-open reveal of the villain, which is just the way I like it. It’s almost like they’re learning from the marketing/trailers of Batman V Superman.

Gal Gadot & Kumail Nanjiani Join Ryan Gosling As The First 3 Hosts For Season 43 Of #SNL
Nothing screams FALL! quite like SNL announcing their hosts and musical guests for a new season and per usual, the lineup is wonderful. We already knew Ryan Gosling would be back for his second stint as host during the season premiere accompanied by Jay-Z, but the big news is that we got a couple of first timers in Gal Gadot and Kumail Nanjiani as the hosts for episodes 2 and 3. I just watched The Big Sick last week and it was as great as the reviews foretold it to be, and Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman. Very few things beat the joyfulness of first time hosts, so I can’t wait to see them both in action. Their musical guests will be the only living, breathing angel Sam Smith and the only woman with an exclamation point in her name, P!nk. Season premiere is next week!

Trailer Alert – Wonder Woman
GET HYPED PEOPLE. THE AMAZON IS HERE!
GOOSEBUMP CITY. First off, can I move to Themyscira? What’s the cost of living compared to RI? Taxes HAVE to be better. I think this trailer speaks for itself. There’s Nothing I can add that hasn’t already been decocted from this trailer. This movie looks dope. Plain and simple.
PS – I’m just going to call Chris Pine’s character “Captain Kirk”, If that’s ok with everyone. It better fits into the Star Trek fan faction i’m writing.
