You know what looks fucking terrible? Being a famous celebrity. For those that have seen Amy, the great yet incredibly sobering documentary about the late Amy Winehouse, you’ll know what I mean. Being a celebrity, especially one in the entertainment business, looks terrifying. You’re constantly being pulled in a million different directions and you never seem to have a personal moment to breathe. Inviting a documentary crew from Netflix to follow you around 24/7 isn’t necessarily going to help that, but it does give fans a peek inside celebrities everyday lives. Gaga: Five Foot Two, if you couldn’t tell by the title, follows around Lady Gaga last year leading up to her Super Bowl halftime show. I’m a Gaga supporter (if you don’t like Million Reasons KINDLY LEAVE) so I’m hoping this is similar to the Amy documentary minus the tragic ending. Gaga: Five Foot Two starts streaming September 22nd.
