Jimmy Fallon dipped into Studio 8H on Saturday night to host one of the few remaining shows of this season. Fallon always brings a ton of energy to SNL, and last weekend was no different. He was in almost every sketch and my personal favorite was a pre-taped original titled Basketball Scene. The premise is simple: Fallon and Mikey Day are extra’s in a movie scene where Kenan Thompson’s character is trying to have a heart to heart talk with Pete Davidson’s character. They were hired as extra’s due to their supposed basketball skills, but the director quickly finds out they have no skills at all. I loved everything about this sketch, and the failed alley oop attempt made me actually laugh out loud.
