Seth Rollins Threw Out The First Pitch At The Orioles Game Yesterday & Made Me Feel Pretty Good About Myself
Seth Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He’s the present and future of the WWE, an incredible athlete and pretty much living his dream. WWE Payback was in Baltimore last night, so Rollins threw out the first pitch at the Orioles game yesterday afternoon. It wasn’t the worst pitch I’ve ever seen, but I now know that I can do something better than Seth Rollins, and it feels pretty damn good. I’m not a major league pitcher, but I can throw a baseball pretty well. Seth Rollins, on the other hand, doesn’t seem like he has the skill set to make a throw from the pitcher’s mound to home plate. He can do a standing backflip and a 450 splash from the top rope, but he can’t throw a baseball as good as me. Which one is more impressive? On second thought, don’t answer that question.

Amidst The Chaos In Baltimore, One Mom Took A Stand & Tried To Stop Her Son From Rioting
With all the insanity happening in Baltimore, video emerged of what has been labeled a mother smacking the shit out of her soon for joining in on the riots. It’s good to see a mother trying to talk some sense into her son, but at this point, I can’t imagine this is how the majority of people feel. Whether you support the cops or the community, rioting and burning down buildings is obviously never the answer. But at this point, what is the answer? How many times can people see someone get killed by the police before they snap? This video is a glimmer of hope in an otherwise really awful situation, and if the police killings keep happening, I don’t expect it to stop. The most worrying part about all of this is the lack of leadership from the people elected to keep the community safe. I knew politicians were useless, but when things like this happen, it really makes you wonder what the people in charge are made of. Right now, they’re failing in every possible way.

Baltimore For The Night
This past weekend I went down to sunny Tampa Florida for the Buccaneers vs 49ers game. It was great. Caught up with an old college buddy and saw my team play live. (Even though they lost. Be gentle, Ryan) Great weekend overall, but the trip home…not so much.
After having a flight delayed multiple times from Tampa International we missed our connector in Baltimore, even though they said they “will wait for us”. To add insult to injury they put us up at a hotel and try to compensate by offering:
This makes me feel ten times better! Because when I started this trip I was dreaming that they would offer to bump my flight in exchange for a bag of chips and a bottle of water.
Good ol’ Baltimore for ya. Always throwing out surprises.

America Can Rest Easy Tonight: The “Dine and Dasher” Has Finally Been Caught
(Source) “The Baltimore man dubbed the “Dine and Dasher” by police is at it again, authorities and restaurant owners say.
Andrew Palmer, 46, notorious for racking up food and drink tabs at area restaurants, then faking seizures to get out of paying the bill, was arrested early Monday after owners said he refused to pay a $50 bill at Viccino Jay’s Italian Gourmet on Charles Street.
The night before, he went limp at upscale barbecue restaurant Oliver Speck’s in Harbor East when it was time to settle up on a $90 tab, according to the owner and a patron.
“The paramedics showed up and said, ‘Looks like our guy’s back,'” said Oliver Speck’s chef Jesse Sandlin. “He would not wake up, and they were like, ‘Come on Andy, stop faking.'”
Police say Palmer, who has a career rap sheet more than 90 arrests long and has been found guilty of petty theft at least eight times in the past year, is making the rounds again.
He’s being held at Central Booking in lieu of $1,500 bail. His most recent public defender did not return a message seeking comment. Court records list Palmer as homeless or at an address on South Broadway that no longer exists.”
Phew. Just when it looks like society is about to crumble and law enforcement seems overmatched by the criminal underworlds, we get a story like this to give us hope. One of the most dangerous men in history has been apprehended. Andrew Palmer has been causing chaos in the restaurant world for too long. Ruining the lives of waiters and waitresses alike. One quick glance at his mugshot and you just know you’re looking into the face of pure evil. No longer will a homeless man who fakes seizures to avoid paying his tab get away with it. Andrew Palmer, the hands of justice are swift and severe. I for one will sleep a little better tonight knowing this deviant is finally off the streets.

Christmas in September: NFL Seasons Opens Tonight!
The NFL season is finally here! Fan Duel. Fantasy Football. Survivor pools. And of course, rooting for your favorite childhood teams. I love my birthday and now that I’m an adult holidays are extra special because you get time off, but nothing brings me as much excitement as the opening night of the NFL season. Sunday fundays now have a totally different meaning. Men can talk football in bars, debating fantasy trades and playoff chances from now until February. God I love this country.
