Jennifer Lawrence & Amy Schumer Dancing On Billy Joel’s Piano During ‘Uptown Girl’ Is The Happiest Video Ever
Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are the best kind of best friends. They’re obviously a lot of fun, but they’re also super rich celebrities, which is the best of both worlds. When Matt and I went to see Billy Joel at MSG, we sat about as far away as possible. It was an incredible show, but I’m assuming if we tried to get on stage and stand on Billy Joel’s piano that 1. the piano would break and 2. we’d be arrested. But when Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence do it, it’s accepted and adored. I wish I was a part of it, because this honestly might be the happiest video of all time. Imagine getting to hang onstage with Billy Joel while he plays ‘Uptown Girl’? A guy can dream.

The end of summer signifies a lot of beautiful things (football!) but my personal favorite might be that SNL returns. A weekend filled with SNL on Saturday night and football all day Sunday is the only weekend there should be, but unfortunately the summer robs us of both. Well the summer is almost over, and SNL is coming back with a bang. One of the most talented two way performers in Miley Cyrus is hosting the season debut, followed by the red hot Amy Schumer, who will be followed by former cast member Tracy Morgan. That is a murderers row of talented people to start a season. Cyrus is the only one who doesn’t have sketch comedy experience, but she’s hosted before and is always down to do whatever is asked. Schumer has her own sketch show, and while it’s not in front of a live audience, she clearly knows comedy and is going to kill it. Tracy Morgan is the most surprising name on the list, but after his accident, it’s awesome to see Lorne invite him back to the stage that made him a household name. October 3rd can’t come soon enough.

Ever since I watched Silver Linings Playbook for the 1000th time, I’ve been a big fan of Jennifer Lawrence. She’s talented, hot, and seems pretty down to earth. Maybe it’s all an act, but who cares. If I was a multi millionaire celebrity at TWENTY FOUR I’d probably be the biggest asshole in the world. I’d be Shia LaBeouf. Instead, she handles all the insanity with class and just keeps doing her thing. Same thing goes for Amy Schumer. She’s the star of her own sketch TV show and she just wrote and starred in her own movie (Trainwreck) which was absolutely hysterical. She’s on the top of the world, but she doesn’t give a shit about all that fame stuff either. She just wants to red jet ski’s with her maniac friend Jennifer Lawrence. While I’m eating under cooked steak tonight with 50 other guys, they’re both living the dream. God damn it am I jealous.

Trailer Alert – Trainwreck
This is set to debut at SXSW, so I will most definitely be seeing it. I am hot and cold on Amy Schumer, some days she’s funny and other days I want to rip my television off my wall when I see her. This trailer seems to be pointing to the former, so that’s good. Other takeaways in this trailer: John Cena goes on a date with heart one point (which could be paralleling her dating Dolph Ziggler back in the day) so that’s cool. Lebron James makes an appearance and surprisingly enough he doesn’t seem like a horrible actor……..Oh, and BILL “MOTHER FUCKING” HADER is the other lead. Yeah, i’m sold.
