Here’s the thing: cramps suck, especially for a basketball player like Lebron, who routinely plays 40-42 out of 48 minutes in a game. Add in the fact that the air conditioning broke and it was apparently 90 degrees inside the AT&T Center and I can understand you getting cramps in your legs. But come on. Game 1 of the NBA Finals, you’re going for a three peat and trying to get your team into the “greatest teams ever” discussion…and you leave the game with cramps. I’m rooting for the Heat to win. I no longer despise Lebron, because it’s clear he’s the best player on the planet and saying otherwise at this point in his career makes you look very, very stupid. No one can guard him, and he can guard ANYONE on the other team. What else do you want in a player? But situations like these make it really hard to defend him. How can one of, if not the best athlete in the world continually leave the game with cramps? It doesn’t seem possible that this can keep happening. Is he not hydrating himself? Are the trainers Texan spies? It really boggles my mind. I hope Lebron comes back strong Sunday and the Heat rally off four straight wins and we can get past this. But for now, bring on the Midol jokes. Lebron has cramps.

Tom Brady experienced the ultimate high and pretty close to the ultimate low this weekend at the Derby. Flying into a gala in a hot air balloon is insane. Just an incredible move. Personally I think it’s cooler than taking your own jet. The jet game is overrated and expensive. The hot air balloon game is barely tapped into and nobody expects it. I love it. But then he’s got that haircut and those red pants. I know he’s married to a supermodel and she apparently dresses him and has him get fancy haircuts, but this is absurd. Absurd haircut. Ruined any momentum his hot air balloon stunt created. I want to like Tom Brady. He lives a great life. Seems like a cool dude. But I can’t respect a guy with that haircut. Or those pants. That’s asking too much of me.
Safe to say the answer is yes. Bold move from Air New Zealand. Nothing like an enormous dragon plane flying at you at 700 miles per hour.
Summertime is upon us. Hot weather, sand between your toes, sweat dripping down your brow, and sunburns; the whole bit. People love this time of year, but not this guy. Give me sweaters, snow, and frostbite any day. For me, this time of year is a constant struggle for comfort. The search for cool temperatures is my crusade, and air conditioners are my holy grail. “Why are you sitting inside”, people shout. Why? Because I’m not a lunatic who likes to sit in 95° weather with 99% humidity.
Is it winter yet? And how long till thanksgiving? I’m hungry.
