Kim and Kanye’s Celebrity Mashup Name – What Should it Be? Give us Your Thoughts!
By now 4/5 of the world are aware that Kim and Kanye are now engaged to be married. I’ve been on record as hating Kanye from time to time, but I’d be lying if this wasn’t my reaction when I heard the news..
There’s only so much hate you can have for two people, and if they want to get married and having little babies named after directions on a map let them do it. Renting out an entire baseball stadium and proposing on the big screen on her birthday while family and friends wait in the wings is also pretty damn cool.
The only question I really have is what is their celebrity mash up name going to be now that they’re getting married? While KimYe is incredibly creative, I was thinking of something that doesn’t just combine Kim’s actual name with the last two letters of Kanye’s. I want something creative, something that shows their unique spirits. Keezus? Kanyashian? I think we can do better. These two down to earth celebrities need our help, so what do you got? Let us know!

Reason #4.536 Why Jimmy Fallon is the Man: 80’s Cops with Alec Baldwin
If this is what happens when SNL alums get their own talk show, then count me as the #1 fan for Seth Myers new show. Jimmy Fallon is as versatile as they come, and now he’s bringing paparazzi killer Alec Baldwin in on the fun. Simple concept, but they both knock it out of the park here. You just know Fallon has a million more sketch ideas like this, and he gets the best celebrity guests on late night TV. Since NBC is looking for the next breakout comedy show, why not give Fallon a half hour a week to get some of these sketches on the air? I know at least 6 people that would watch that.

If Anyone Can Change the Laws of the Constitution, it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger
(Source) “Action star and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been lobbying for support to change the law to allow him to run for president in 2016, according to the New York Post’s Page Six
.
We’re told Ahnold has been openly talking about his political ambitions while in New York to promote his new movie with Sylvester Stallone, “Escape Plan.”
One source said: “Schwarzenegger has been talking openly about working on getting the constitutional rules changed so he can run for president in 2016. He is ready to file legal paperwork to challenge the rules.”
Arnie was born in Austria, and the US Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation’s top job. Any amendment to the Constitution must be approved by two-thirds majority in the House and the Senate.”
If there’s one person in this world that can change constitutional law and become the first foreign president, it’s Arnold. Mr. Olympia, marries a Kennedy, enormous movie star, governor of California. Pretty impressive resume. If we’re all being honest with ourselves, the government we have in place right now isn’t doing so hot. Maybe Arnold is the change we need. North Korea has nuclear weapons? Agree to meet with Kim Jong Un wearing the leather jacket and sunglasses from Terminator as an intimidation tactic. Putin wants to play around? I think that calls for the loin cloth/headband look from Conan the Barbarian (sword optional). Now the USA is feared by our opponents, and we regain our position as a world superpower. Arnold probably abolishes all steroid laws in sports so they’re fun to watch again, too. Win, win, win. If a bad actor can be President, imagine what an American action hero would be able to accomplish. Arnold in 2020.

Tech Tuesday – Nokia Joins The Tablet Market
Some people call the Nokia 2520 the first Windows tablet, but I feel that distinction should go to the Surface RT. Even though the Nokia will run Windows 8 RT, I still feel the Surface is more a tablet than a full on laptop (although their commercials would like you to think differently).
So why get the Nokia 2520 over the Surface? Well, for one it is a lot thinner, coming in at just shy of 9mm. It comes with 32gb of internal storage with options for 32gb more via micro sd card slot. The 2520 is also sporting a 10.1″ 1080p displays that is protected by Gorilla Glass. You get a very “HTC One” like audio experience with it’s front facing speakers, and from reviews i’ve seen they sound pretty good. It is LTE compatible, so you need not worry about Wifi while on the go.
Who will buy the Nokia 2520? At $499 probably the same people who are buying the Surface RT and the people who have Windows smart phones. One of the big selling points, especially in the video above, is that it works pretty seamlessly with your other Nokia smart devices (smart phones specifically). This shows Windows finally catching up to the whole “ecosystem” approach to people’s personal tech. I think it’s still well behind iOS and Android, but it is finally making a push. Nokia makes some great hardware and Microsoft has designed a great looking mobile os. Now if they could only get more developers to want to spend time writing code for them!

PS- Microsoft and Nokia love those clip-on keyboards. Personally I think they are horrible to use.
The Bacon Wave is as American as You Can Get
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this thing does nothing to make bacon healthier to eat. You know how to make bacon healthier? Open up the package and throw it into the garbage. Those are the facts. Bacon is terrible for you. Is it the most delicious treat on the planet? Oh hell yeah it is, but it’s probably better for your wellbeing to slam your head into a concrete wall rather than eat bacon all the time. I digress.
I have some marketing/business advice for Bacon Wave. Start selling bacon. Open up a slaughter house, steal some pigs, do what you gotta do, because the only thing this infomercial made me want to do was stuff my face with greasy bacon.
Gotta go. I don’t have any bacon in the house. Next stop, the supermarket.

PS- I recently had chocolate covered bacon at a country faire and guess what, it was incredible.
