Geno Smith Is Out 6-10 Weeks After Getting Sucker Punched By A Teammate…Wait What?

J-E-T-S Starting quarterback Geno Smith will miss six to 10 weeks with a broken jaw after getting “sucker-punched” in the locker room, New York Jets coach Todd Bowles announced Tuesday.

Smith was punched by linebacker IK Enemkpali, who has been released by the team.

Around the NFL will have more on this story soon.

Wait, What?

Just when you think your favorite team is the worst possible team you can root for, the Jets go and do Jets things and make you feel so much better about yourself. Seriously, is there anything more JETS than your starting quarterback getting ‘sucker punched’ by a no name linebacker in the locker room? I don’t think there is. The only way this could have been worse is if Geno Smith was actually a good player. Maybe next time don’t trust a guy with the first name IK.
