Before SNL 40 aired last night, there were two people in particular I was really excited to see back: Eddie Murphy and Bill Murray. While Chris Rock gave a great tribute to Murphy and his incredible comedic talent, Eddie was very laid back and seemed to soaking it all in, which is understandable when you remember he hadn’t been on SNL in 32 years. Murray, on the other hand, went all in with his rendition of the love theme song from ‘Jaws’. With the help of Paul Schaffer on the keys, Murray belts out a ballad that is both hysterical and haunting. Now the only thing left to do is to get Bill Murray to host this year and all will be right with the world.
