In case you didn’t know, HBO re released ‘The Wire’ in HD last week, and is currently airing a marathon, with the 5th and final season airing today. One of the shows greatest characters was Omar, the shotgun wielding Robin Hood who stole from the bad guys and gave to…well, himself. Omar was played by Michael K. Williams (Boardwalk Empire’s Chalky White for younger fans) and he decided to get in on the live tweeting fun and posted this gem to Instagram. Luckily a ‘spoiler alert’ isn’t necessary, but if you’ve never seen ‘The Wire’ and want watch one of the greatest dramas in television history, get on HBO Go right now and revel in it’s wonderfulness.
